Purposefulness and goal of the study

 

The main purpose of the study is to train IT engineers to independently perform maintenance, operation and design of personal computers and servers, small networks, information systems and applications, as well as their use as tools.

The knowledge that students will master includes:

• knowledge of electronics and hardware, system maintenance and network design of smaller systems.

• knowledge of software, software packages and the development of own programs, including applications in the computerization of offices, administration and the economy.

 

Relationship between studies and science and practice

The study of informatics is aimed at acquiring practical knowledge that graduates can immediately use in performing typical tasks in informatics.

A graduate student of informatics can perform the following tasks:

• management, maintenance and organization of work in companies and in independent activity in the conditions of promoting the application of advanced information technologies;

• business communication and presentation of the company from classic ways to multimedia presentations on the Internet;

• construction, installation and use of modern information systems: workstations, computer systems and networks, databases and electronic media for processing, storage, retrieval, transmission and communication of information;

• programming in graphic programming languages;

• communicating with IT and computer specialists during the development, implementation and maintenance of computer and software.

6. Design and maintenance of Internet web presentations using modern software tools.

7. Functioning, components and application of modern computer networks.

Purposefulness and goal of the study

In the Republic of Croatia, the demand for personnel in the field of logistics is rapidly increasing. The main goal of opening the professional study Traffic Logistics VHZK is education at a higher level of logistics who can find their place in all professions of economy, especially transport, and public administration (army, police, customs). Based on interdisciplinary knowledge of the field of activity, final students would be able to lead, manage and coordinate at the tactical and strategic level of the organization in which they work or will work. Their activities would be focused primarily on solving logistics problems, both in logistics companies and in other companies where there is a need for applied logistics (area of ??economic logistics, energy, health, human resources, information, etc.).

Logistics at the VHZK will be developed on the principles of a systematic approach. A systematic approach would be the foundation of information technology, mathematical modeling and sophisticated computer programs.

Logistics studies traffic as its subsystem, ie transport as a subsystem of transport, acquisition and improvement of theoretical and practical knowledge from all areas of economics and entrepreneurship, performing activities in the field of marketing, logistics, transport, forwarding, insurance etc.

Purposefulness and goal of the study

The main purpose of the study Operational Management is the training of operational managers, primarily management and middle management, for independent work in industry, trade, construction, shipping, transport and traffic, tourism, catering, utilities, health care institutions, government agencies, government agencies, etc.

The Operational Management program offers an appropriate quantum of interdisciplinary knowledge for the training of creative and operational managers in entrepreneurship and institutions. Such staff are the bearers of entrepreneurship and are trained to quickly spot problems; for independent business decision making; to manage human resources, production resources, factors and processes; for innovations and changes in the business of economic and non-economic entities, etc. Staff who complete a three-year professional study of Operational Management, can meet the propositions of all types of entrepreneurs, as well as all levels of management in economic and other organizations.

By acquiring the knowledge offered by the Operational Management program, students are trained to:

• independently establishing and running the business of one's own company, small and medium-sized enterprises and institutions, or providing services to other entrepreneurs,

• successful involvement in business related to certain business functions in large companies,

• managing the potentials and resources of the company,

• business process management,

• launching economic projects and studies,

• successful realization of good own or other people's entrepreneurial ideas
