Scientific paper entitled "Statistical Analysis of Counter-Covid-19 Policies Adequacy and Effectiveness in Croatia" presented
Group of authors: Filip Šklebar, external associate of the University of Applied Sciences Hrvatsko Zagorje Krapina (VHZK) and VHZK employees Marko Mikša, lecturer, and Robert Spudić, senior lecturer & vice dean for teaching at VHZK published a scientific paper entitled Statistical Analysis of Counter-Covid-19 Policies Adequacy and Effectiveness in Croatia. The scientific paper was reviewed in the international peer review process and published in the prestigious international scientific journal The Journal of CIEES, with open access through the link: https://journal.ciees.eu/index.php/ojs/article/view/33. The implementation of the research and the preparation and publication of the scientific work in the Journal of CIEES is the result of the author's activities in the internal project Cooperation of young and senior researchers of the VHZK on a scientific project for the purpose of improving personal and institutional competences, carried out within the Laboratory for Spatial Intelligence. The project had the following goals: (A1) Establish and implement the process of gathering young and older researchers - employees and external collaborators of VHZK into a project group; (A2) Develop an interactive process of project work on a targeted scientific-research problem, which will motivate and enable the achievement of scientific-research competencies of young and older researchers - employees and external collaborators of the VHZK, and (A3) Establish and implement the process of achieving competencies in the preparation of scientific-research papers and the procedure for their publication in scientific journals and at scientific conferences.
The following project outcomes resulted from the project activities: (O1) Establishment of a mixed project group of young and senior researchers - employees and external collaborators of the VHZK, (O2) Implementation of the project procedure on a given scientific-research problem, and (O3) Preparation and publication of the scientific-research work of young people and senior researchers - employees and external collaborators of VHZK in the international scientific journal (The Journal of CIEES).
The project was led by the head of the Laboratory, Prof Dr Renato Filjar, employee of VHZK. The coordinator of the project was Filip Šklebar, external associate of VHZK. The project is being implemented in the period April 1, 2023 - July 1, 2023.
