MS IRENA POPOVIĆ, AN EXTERNAL LECTURER TO VHZK, PRESENTED RESEARCH STUDY AT EEPES 2022 CONFERENCE IN VARNA, BULGARIA

The International Conference on Electronics, Engineering Physics, and Earth Sciences (EEPES) 2022 was held in Varna, Bulgaria, 22 – 24 June, 2022, as a hybrid event. EEPES 2022 covered a wide range of topics, including telecommunications, environmental physics, optical and electromagnetic communications, artificial intelligence, and soft-computing.

Ms Irena Popović, external Lecturer with Krapina University of Applied Sciences (KUAS), gave an inspired invited lecture on the subject of nomophobia, a smartphone addiction in everyday life. In the invited lecture, the results of the research were presented, in which, in addition to the author, KUAS students Kristijan Puljek, Mario Jadek and Sebastian Ptiček also participated, as well as in the preparation of the presentation.The invited lecture, dubbed Nomophobia – student’s project view, was given in the Project Dissemination Session chaired by Dr Eleni Papadopoulou of Greece. Invited lecture by Irena Popović, external Lecturer, at the EEPES 2022 conference was recorded, and will be published on the conference website.

KUAS was actively engaged in the organisation of the EEPES 2022 conference, with participation of Mr Nenad Sikirica, Senior Lecturer, Dean of Krapina University of Applied Sciences, and Mr Darko Špoljar, external Lecturer with KUAS, as Members of the EEPES 2022 International Scientific Committee.
